Crafting an Immersive Landing Page Experience

Crafting an Immersive Landing Page Experience  https://gigatech832065.github.io/LANDING-SLIDER-FINAL/  Gigatech1 recently embarked on a project to build a dynamic and engaging landing page, focusing on creating a visually rich and interactive experience. The goal was to move beyond static content and craft a page that truly captured attention and conveyed a sense of movement and depth. Visual Storytelling Through Scrolling One of the core elements of this build was the use of scrolling to drive the narrative. We aimed to create a sense of progression and discovery as users moved down the page. This was achieved by implementing a layered scrolling effect, where different elements moved at varying speeds, giving the impression of depth and parallax. Image-Driven Design Images played a central role in the design. We incorporated a series of card-like elements, each showcasing a different image. These cards were arranged in sliding lines, creating a sense of continuous motion. Thi...

Meta Cracks Down on Leakers, Fires 20 Employees and Counting

Meta is taking a hard stance against internal leaks, recently firing around 20 employees for sharing confidential company information. And according to the company, more terminations may be on the way. Meta’s Stance on Leaks "We tell employees when they join the company, and we offer periodic reminders, that it is against our policies to leak internal information, no matter the intent,” a Meta spokesperson told  The Verge . Following an internal investigation, the company determined that several employees had violated this policy, leading to their dismissal. Zuckerberg’s Frustration The crackdown follows CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s growing frustration over leaked internal discussions. At a recent all-hands meeting, Zuckerberg admitted he was reluctant to answer certain questions because of repeated leaks. “We try to be really open, and then everything I say leaks. It sucks,” he reportedly told employees. Ironically, details from that meeting were leaked soon after. In response, Meta sen...
The Timeless Relevance of Vanilla HTML Websites in 2025 In an era dominated by complex web frameworks, dynamic content management systems (CMS), and no-code website builders, one might assume that simple HTML-based websites have become obsolete. However, in 2025, vanilla HTML websites remain not only relevant but also a practical solution for many businesses, particularly small to mid-sized enterprises (SMBs) looking for cost-effective, secure, and high-performance web solutions. Why Vanilla HTML Still Matters While the web development landscape has evolved significantly over the years, the foundational aspects of the internet remain the same. HTML, CSS, and a bit of JavaScript still form the backbone of the vast majority of websites. Vanilla HTML websites built purely with HTML, CSS, and optionally JavaScript, without the use of CMS platforms or heavy JavaScript frameworks offer several distinct advantages. 1. Speed and Performance One of the most significant advantages of a van...

To Change? Or Not to Change?? (That is the Question...and the Answer is Probably Yes)

Okay, so you got another email telling you to reset your password. Ugh. We get it. It's a pain. You probably have a perfectly good password you remember just fine. It's practically etched into your brain. Why the extra hassle? Are we just trying to make your life miserable? (Spoiler alert: no.) Well, the truth is, that seemingly annoying password reset policy is a crucial piece of the security puzzle. Think of it like changing the locks on your house, even if you haven't technically lost your keys. Maybe you just suspect your sketchy neighbor, Peters, has a key. Or maybe you saw a squirrel acting suspiciously interested in your doorknob. It's a preventative measure, designed to keep the bad guys (and potentially overly-curious rodents) out. This new policy, requiring a password reset after 90 days of inactivity, might seem inconvenient, but it's a big deal for your security. Here's why: Inactive Accounts are Targets: Cybercriminals love to go after dormant acc...
