The Truth in the Political Shadows

The Truth in the Political Shadows

Picture this: a dimly lit long abandoned class room, a figure hunched in thought, and a chilling command etched in white on the long defunct blackboard, “The only thing is to write the truth.” Stephen King’s wisdom looms like a storm cloud over our fractured political landscape in July 2025.

Let’s dive into the dark humor of it all.

The red side stomps forth, a lumbering beast of patriotism, promising freedom while chaining us to economic despair. Their truth? A ghost story where the market rises, but the working stiffs are left haunting empty wallets. Flip the coin to the blue side oh, they’re a different breed of ghoul, preaching love and acceptance with a guillotine of censorship. Unity’s their chant, but dissent gets the chop, all with a sanctimonious smirk.

King would cackle at this circus. Write the truth, he’d rasp, but don’t turn your back, truth’s a two-edged blade, slicing through red and blue alike. The real fright? Us, the audience, clapping for our chosen boogeymen. So, pick up your pen, brave souls, and etch the unvarnished truth before the stage goes dark and the true monsters claim their encore.
