My opinion, this is panic theater for people who learned politics from You tube.
Obama is not some sacred donkey. He is a former president, which means scrutiny exist whether people like it or not.
Lemon and Fort were not arrested for reporting, they crossed the line the moment they entered with the protesters, shoulder to shoulder, not in the aftermath. That is premeditated biased based intent, not journalism, and the First Amendment does not issue invisibility cloaks to anyone holding a press badge blustering 1st Amendment immunity.
Calling every enforcement action “fascism” is how you announce you have stopped thinking and started chanting.
If this is fascism, then the word no longer describes a system of power, it describes emotional inconvenience, and that is a hell of a downgrade.
